CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (WJPF) — One person was killed, another seriously injured Wednesday in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and tractor trailer.
It happened at about 11:40 AM in Cape Girardeau at the intersection of Independence and South Broadview.
Police say Michael Brown, 36, of Cape Girardeau was travelling west on Independence and hit the tractor-trailer as it was turning east from South Broadview.
Michael Brown died of his injuries. A female passenger on the motorcycle was taken to a St. Louis hospital.
