Police Re-Investigate Unsolved Tupac Murder

Tupac Shakur, or better known as 2Pac, was killed in a drive-by shooting on a September night in Las Vegas in 1996. The case has been unsolved. But Las Vegas police are saying they’re re-investigating it.

Why?

BET’s documentary series “Death Row Chronicles”. The series released in February and the curiosity of the Las Vegas police are piqued after a former gang member spoke about that night in September.

Keffe D, whose real name is Duane Keith Davis, said in an on-camera confession that he was in the front seat of a white Cadillac in Las Vegas when someone in the backseat opened fire on a black BMW, which was the car that Tupac and a friend were riding in. Tupac died six days later after the shooting.

Since then, there weren’t really any leads to follow. But now, police are saying they’ve spent the last few months re-investigating this murder. They state no arrests are imminent.
