Suspicious person concern ends with methamphetamine arrest

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office say deputies responding to a report of a suspicious person ended up making an arrest for possession of methamphetamine.

The report was phoned into the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office says Jennifer Mayo, 41, was found trespassing at a rural Franklin County residence. Substances in her possession tested positive for meth. She was taken to jail for felony possession of methamphetamine.
