One arrested after Carbondale stabbing

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Murphysboro man was arrested after what police call a mutually agreed upon fight ended in a stabbing.

Carbondale Police say at about 1:15 Friday morning, officers were called to the 500 block of South Illinois Avenue. At the scene, they found a man with multiple, non-life threatening stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital.

Another man, Commadore Jackson, 30, was later arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and aggravated battery.
