MASCOUTAH, Ill. (WJPF) — Two pilots ejected from an F-15 fighter plane Tuesday morning on a runway after making an emergency landing at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport.

The incident happened at about 7:30 a.m. Neither pilot is believed to have sustained serious injuries.

Scott Air Force Base officials announced in February that the Boeing F-15QA, designed for the Qatar Emiri Air Force, would be operating out of MidAmerica St. Louis Airport for training and instruction exercises.
