Another person has been charged with murder in the death of Frank Stonemark.
According to the Jackson County State’s Attorney Office, the widow, Carmen Stonemark, knowing solicited the murder of her husband.
Earlier in the week, James Deese pleaded guilty to strangling the 76-year-old De Soto resident.
Prosecutors have charged Carmen Stonemark with first degree murder, solicitation of murder, and concealment of a homicidal death.
If convicted, the 54-year-old Carmen Stonemark could spend the rest of her life behind bars.
