CARBONDALE Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man has been sentenced to 99 years for Home Invasion and Aggravated Sexual Assault.
30 year old Kyle Locklear broke into an elderly woman’s home in May of 2021 and sexually assaulted the woman throughout the night. He then left with her phone and purse. The woman was able to make her way to a landline and call for help.
Locklear was charged with two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault of a Person Over the Age of 60, two counts of Home Invasion; one count each of Residential Burglary and Aggravated Unlawful Restraint at a sentencing hearing on December 15th.
