Netflix

“Transatlantic (Season 1)

Based on Julie Orringer’s 2019 novel The Flight Portfolio, this brand new Netflix Original history drama mini-series follows two Americans and their allies as they form a scrappy rescue operation in 1940 Marseilles to help artists, writers and other refugees fleeing Europe during WWII. With a cast led by Gillian Jacobs, Cory Michael Smith, Deleila Piasko, Corey Stoll, Grégory Montel, Ralph Amoussou, Luke Thompson, and Amit Rahav, the exciting new title is sure to provide a riveting, high-stakes adventure from beginning to end, so make sure to catch it when it hits Netflix early in April.


 

Hulu

Am I Being Unreasonable? (Season 1)

Making its way to Hulu this month is this six-part comedy-thriller series out of the United Kingdom that captures a promising new friendship that completely unravels into something unexpectedly dark and twisted. Am I Being Unreasonable? begins with Nic (Daisy May Cooper) stuck in a depressing marriage and grieving a painful loss she must keep to herself. Only her beloved son, Ollie (Lenny Rush), provides her any joy and purpose in life until the arrival of a new woman in town named Jen (Selin Hizli), who on the surface seems to be a fun-loving kindred spirit. In reality, Jen has some dark secrets of her own, and the closer that both women get to one another, the harder it is to keep their troubling truths to themselves without anyone getting hurt. Make sure to witness this wild ride of a series beginning this month on Hulu.


 

Amazon Prime

Judy Blume Forever (coming 4/21)

Readers everywhere are sure to love Judy Blume Forever, a brand new Prime Video Original documentary film celebrating the life and writing career of the amazing Judy Blume. Mrs. Davis (Season 1) (Coming 4/20)”

Rennervations

Rennervations is a Disney+ Original documentary series that promises adventure and fun for the whole family. Over the course of four episodes, the show follows actor Jeremy Renner as he travels the world to give back and help others by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet the needs of various communities. Outside of his acting work, Renner has years of experience in construction and a deep passion for buying and repurposing large vehicles. With the help of his best friend and business partner Rory Millikin in addition to assistance from other pals, artists, and philanthropists like Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Hudgens, Anil Kapoor, and Sebastián Yatra, Renner sets forth to deliver finished vehicles to each community with the hopes of significantly improving the lives of those living there. Celebrate generosity and ingenuity of mankind with Rennervations this April, only on Disney+.


 

HBO Max

Barry (Season 4)

It’s the end of an era, folks. The fourth and final season of Barry is finally upon us, and is sure to go out with a bang (probably literally). This season of the HBO Original dark comedy series picks up Gene Cousineau (Henry Winkler) being hailed as a hero, while Barry Berkman (Bill Hader) is in police custody for killing Detective Janice Moss (Paula Newsome). As Barry tries to reckon with his new life behind bars and the fact that his former acting teacher and mentor was the one to put him there, shocking consequence of his arrest will come to light, making for a heart-pounding and gripping send-off you won’t want to miss.

Heartbreak Island (Season 3)

The third season of this Mark Dye-hosted dating competition series is sure to get hearts racing and temperatures rising as a new group of 20-something singles put it all on the line in a bid to find their perfect partners and get a shot at winning $100,000. Girls and guys will pair up, face challenges, stay or stray in Passion Plays, and ultimately decide if they’ve found real love, all while playing the game to avoid elimination and walking the wharf off Heartbreak Island.
