Indiana man convicted in kidnapping that ended in Franklin County

 

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WJPF) — An Indiana man arrested in southern Illinois for kidnapping has been sentenced to 36 year in prison.

In July 2019, Quinton Jennings, 30,  kidnapped his girlfriend and her three-year-old child. After hitting his girlfriend with a crowbar, Jennings dropped the woman and child off at a business in Sesser and fled. He was later arrested in Ina.

Jennings was recently convicted in an Indiana courtroom of Kidnapping and Aggravated Battery.
