TAMMS, Ill. (WJPF) — A search for a missing person has turned into a death investigation after a body was hundreds of miles away.
59-year-old Larry McNelly, of Tamms, was reported missing on September 10 after a fire at his home.
His body was pulled from the Mississippi River in Tennessee over the weekend.
