Senator Dick Durbin made national headlines last week by alleging that President Trump made an off-color remark in reference to immigrants from Haiti and some African nations.
At the time Congressman Mike Bost put out a statement condemning any language of that nature saying it made a possible deal on immigration reform just that much harder.
Wednesday on The Morning Newswatch, Bost added that he thinks no matter what the president said in that meeting, democrats would have turned his words against him. Bost saying, “I believe there was a move, a set move, to use any comment that was made in that inner meeting to entrap the president in a situation where they can take the media and beat the snot out of him.”
