The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Joel Marrs of Williamson County has been identified and arrested in connection to two burglaries in Franklin County, along with an outstanding burglary warrant in Williamson County.
Marrs was taken into custody January 12th after deputies received information he may be at a home in rural West Frankfort.
Investigators say the burglaries happened January 5th in Buckner and January 6th south of Whittington, involving damaged video gaming machines and stolen money.
A second person, 29-year-old Brandy Heater, was also arrested at the home on a failure to appear warrant.
Both remain in custody at the Franklin County Jail.
