One person has died following a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning on Illinois Route 184.
The Franklin County Office of Emergency Management and Communications received a 9-1-1 call just before 7 a.m., reporting the crash south of Yellowbanks Road.
Deputies, along with AMR Ambulance and fire crews from Christopher and Coello, responded to the scene.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle left the roadway and overturned. The driver, a 64-year-old man who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead. A dog inside the vehicle was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Franklin County Coroner.
