Williamson County deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and took a suspect into custody Monday.
Deputies were first called around 4:50 Monday morning to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of Hickory Street in Bush.
Later that morning, deputies located the stolen Honda Civic on Skyhawk Road near Carbondale. Authorities say William D. Basenberg Jr. was found in possession of the vehicle and taken into custody.
Deputies say Basenberg was already on pretrial release in an unrelated case and was wearing a court-ordered GPS ankle monitor. A review of that GPS data placed him at the scene at the time the vehicle was stolen.
Basenberg was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and theft and was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
