
One person was arrested after authorities said they found drugs in a vehicle during a traffic stop.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said they pulled over a vehicle after a traffic violation in Herrin on Wednesday.
During the stop, the sheriff’s office said a K9 unit from the Herrin Police Department sniffed the vehicle and had a positive alert. Deputies then found methamphetamine in a purse on the passenger side.
Crystal Pulliam was identified as the passenger by police and was arrested without incident. Pulliam later admitted to possessing methamphetamine and revealed additional contraband at the Williamson County Jail.
The driver reportedly received citations for traffic violations and was released at the scene. Crystal Pulliam was cited with Possession of Methamphetamine.
