The latest FCS preseason poll is out. The SIU Salukis once again make an appearance in the Top 25 of the AFCA Coaches Poll.
SIU is #20 in the AFCA Coaches Poll, just like in the Stats Perform Top 25.
And just like in the Stats Perform Top 25, four other Missouri Valley Football Conference teams make the To 25.
North Dakota State is the #1 team, South Dakota State is #3, South Dakota is #5, and Illinois State is #6.
Also receiving votes: SEMO, North Dakota, Youngstown State, Northern Iowa, and Indiana State.
Meanwhile, FCS Nation – heard on 103.5 ESPN on Fridays at 5pm throughout the season – released their preseason poll on Monday as well. SIU is not listed in their Top 25.
