CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A man is dead and a woman is in jail following a violent domestic dispute in Carbondale.
Just before midnight Tuesday, police were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of East Birch Street and found Gary Starks, 63, lying in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds to the chest. Starks later died of his injuries at a hospital.
Yoshiko Bradsfield, 60, was arrested at the scene and charged with first degree murder.
