The Rend Lake Warriors are making the move to the Mid-West Athletic Conference. Only the men’s basketball, who competes at the Division II level, will make the shift.
The MWAC figures to be a better fit for the Warriors with its members also being Division II schools.
Rend Lake men’s basketball will now match up with Danville Area Community College, Heartland Community College, Illinois Central College, John Wood Community College, Lewis & Clark Community College, Lincoln Land Community College, Parkland College and Spoon River College in conference action.
The Warriors were a charter member of the Great Rivers Athletic Conference. The GRAC was created in 1967.
