One hurt in Carbondale shooting

 

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A drive-by shooting in Carbondale sent one person to the hospital early Monday morning.

Carbondale Police say at about 2:30 a.m., a passenger in a gray vehicle fired several shots at a person in the 600 block of South Logan Street.

The victim took themselves to the hospital where they were treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police say their investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Carbondale Police. Tips can be made anonymously.
