Sentencing has been postponed for Brian Pheasant. The Christopher man convicted in the fatal 2016 shooting of his estranged wife Beth.
During what was supposed to be a sentencing hearing Friday, the court instead addresses a motion filed by Pheasant’s defense alleging juror misconduct.
The defense is asking that a yet-to-be identified juror be subpoenaed to answer questions about supposed misconduct.
A status hearing on that is schedule for August 17. Sentencing will be scheduled after that.
