Deputy Pushes Burning Vehicle Away From Gas Pumps in Marion

Deputies on overnight patrol in Williamson County came across a vehicle fully engulfed in flames near gas pumps in Marion.

The Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 3:08 Sunday morning at the Circle K near Route 13 and Carbon Street.

A deputy used a patrol vehicle to push the burning car away from the pumps, helping prevent the fire from spreading.

The vehicle was a total loss, but officials say the pumps and the gas station were not damaged.

The Sheriff’s Office is also recognizing several deputies for their quick actions and teamwork during the response.
