The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.
Police are searching for 65-year-old Adora M. Mays of Carbondale. Officers were told by family members that she was last in contact on November 30th, 2025, and they were notified on January 10th.
Mays is described as 5-foot-5, about 75 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. She is confined to a wheelchair and has a medical condition that police say places her in danger.
Police say she’s known to frequent the 200 block of South Lewis Lane in Carbondale. A clothing description and photo were not immediately available, but an updated release will be issued once a photo is obtained.
