A Bond County man appeared in court this week in connection with charges stemming from a November incident involving a school district bus.
Court records show 70-year-old Stephan Heath was charged with driving under the influence and illegal stopping after an incident on November 10, while he was driving a volleyball fan bus for the Carmi-White County School District.
Heath made his first court appearance on December 30, where he pleaded guilty to the illegal stopping charge. The DUI charge was dismissed.
Records show Heath also posted a $253 bond.
