McLeansboro Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 63-year-old Michael Mezo, who is wanted in connection with a child pornography investigation and a violent home invasion.
Police say Mezo attacked two senior citizens during a home invasion on Broadway Street December 15th, seriously injuring one victim.
Mezo is described as 5-foot-6, about 150 pounds, with gray or white hair, hazel eyes, and often wears glasses.
Authorities say he is armed and dangerous. A nationwide warrant is active. Police warn the public not to approach him.
Mezo is believed to be in the Mt. Vernon or Marion areas and may have ties to St. Louis or Kentucky.
