Carbondale Police arrested an 18-year-old Belleville man early Saturday after officers say he was found carrying a loaded gun without the proper permits.
Around 1:06 a.m. on November 22nd, officers on foot patrol in the 700 block of East Grand Avenue stopped Adam Esker and recovered a loaded firearm. Police say Esker did not have a Concealed Carry License or a FOID card.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Jackson County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The case remains under investigation.
