In Williamson County, the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois received a big surprise on Veterans Day.
During a ceremony at Veterans Airport, the Harrison Bruce Foundation presented a $200,000 check to help build a new storage facility on airport grounds.
The next Honor Flight is scheduled for May 18th, 2026.
