The Franklin County Office of Emergency Management and Communications says a fire has closed a portion of State Highway 149 in West Frankfort.
Emergency crews are currently on the scene between Sunnyslope and Dorris Street.
Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews respond to the incident.
