A Cape Girardeau, Missouri man is facing three felony charges in Franklin County after being accused of traveling to meet a minor.
David Alan Weaver, 63, was arrested on Monday and booked into the Franklin County Jail on one count of Traveling to Meet A Minor, Indecent Solicitation , and Grooming.
Weaver was arrested by the West Frankfort Police Department following an investigation done by a private agency which conducts undercover investigations throughout the area.
The suspect was denied pre-trial release in Franklin County Court on Tuesday and has a second hearing scheduled for October 1, 2025.
