SBA approves disaster declarations for southern IL communities

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – Some southern IL communities have been approved for disaster declarations following severe storms and tornadoes.

The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved the declaration which will allow residents, homeowners, and businesses to apply for low-interest loans for damages not covered by insurance.

This declaration covers Williamson County and the adjacent counties of Franklin, Jackson, Johnson, Pope, Saline, and Union. SBA will have a Disaster Loan Outreach Center at 500 North Holland St. in Marion which opened Monday June 23 and will close permanently on July 3.
