HAIM have shared their latest single “Down to be wrong,” the third preview from their upcoming fourth studio album, I quit, out June 20th. See the video for ‘Down to be wrong’ – HERE.
“Down to be wrong” is described in a press release as a “confident ode to self-preservation and prioritizing yourself,” and was produced by Danielle Haim and longtime collaborator Rostam Batmanglij. The song follows previously released album tracks “Relationships” and “Everybody’s Trying to Figure Me Out” from the upcoming 15-track album, also produced by Batmanglij and Danielle Haim.
HAIM also announced 2025 tour dates in support of the new album, with the 23-date North American leg of the “I quit tour” kicks off on September 4th in Philadelphia and includes stops in cities like Toronto, New York, Chicago, Nashville, and Los Angeles, followed by a seven-city UK run launching on October 24th in Nottingham at Motorpoint Arena through October 31st in Glasgow at OVO Hydro. Dora Jar will support select stops. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
HAIM’s last album was 2020’s Women in Music Pt. III. Since then, Alana Haim has starred in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza (with Danielle and Este also making cameos), and she is set to appear in Anderson’s next film, One Battle After Another.
