Thrillville Thrillbillies pitcher Ryan Daly was named the Prospect League Pitcher of the Week for Week 2 of the season before Tuesday’s game against the Johnstown Mill Rats.
Daly, who pitches for the University of Illinois during the collegiate season, tossed six innings last week, striking out seven and only giving up two hits. He gave up no runs for a 0.00 ERA and a 1-0 record.
He is 1-0 this season in two games with a 0.82 ERA and 0.73 WHIP across 11 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts.
Daly and the Thrillbillies (6-6) are looking for revenge Wednesday night against the Johnstown Mill Rats after a 6-2 loss to the Mill Rats on Tuesday.
