SIU Softball got a commitment from transfer infielder Brookley Foster on Tuesday.
She is coming to SIU from Tulsa where she just wrapped up her freshman season.
In 22 games and 13 starts, Foster went 5-for-30 at the plate with a pair of RBIs. She walked 12 times for an on-base percentage of .405.
Foster is primarily a shortstop and third baseman, potentially filling the monster-sized gap left by the transferring Jackie Lis.
