After three seasons burning bright in the SIU lineup, the softball star is in the portal and expecting a big payday as she will no-doubt be one of the top infielders on the market.
Lis is the all-time leader in career home runs at SIU. She smacked 44 across her three seasons at SIU, shattering the career record earlier this season. She hit the most home runs in a season by a Saluki her freshman season with 17. She hit the second most in a season in 2024 with another 16.
Lis leaves SIU with a career slash of .353/.457/.690 across 496 at bats. She had 25 doubles, five triples, and eight stolen bases. She drove in 141 runs, which ranks #6 in SIU history.
Her career batting average ranks second in SIU history. Lis’s 154 career runs ranks fourth in SIU history, just above her aunt – Saluki Hall of Famer Becky Lis – who finished with 150 career runs. Becky Lis is SIU’s all-time leader in batting average with a .362 career average.
Before the 2025 season, Lis was ranked the #2 shortstop in the country according to D1Softball. She was the Missouri Valley Conference’s Most Valuable Player in 2024.
