(WJPF) – The National Weather Service says at least three tornados touched down in southern Illinois Wednesday night.
Two twisters, an EF-1 and an EF-0 touched down in Union County. They had maximum winds of 95 miles per hour.
A third, an EF-2 with maximum winds of 115 miles per hour, touched down in extreme southwest Massac County and caused damage to a home in Pope County before crossing the Ohio river.
No injuries or deaths have been reported in southern Illinois.
