Man Facing Possession of Controlled Substance and Other Charges in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY (Ill.) WJPF – A man faces multiple charges after a traffic stop in Williamson County.

On April 7, deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle commit a violation while traveling near Main Street and Old Creal Springs Road.

During the stop, officers discovered the driver, Cedric Isaac had a suspended driver’s license and was unable to provide proof of valid insurance.

After witnessing Isaac’s nose running profusely, officers conducted a search of the vehicle.

Isaac was discovered to be in possession of a substance later identified as Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, a schedule 2 controlled substance.

Isaac was cited for Driving While License Suspended, No Valid Driver’s License, Improper Lane Usage, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Possession of Controlled Substance.

Isaac remains in the Williamson County Jail.
