Carbondale man charged with domestic violence, child endangerment after Sunday morning fight

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man is facing charges, including domestic violence, after a fight involving a gun.

Carbondale Police say Zachary Vineyard, 23, fought with a known acquaintance around 3:20 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 2400 block of South Illinois Avenue in Carbondale.  Police say Vineyard was armed with a gun during the fight, but no shots were fired.  The victim received minor injuries.

Zachary Vineyard will appear in court in December on charges of domestic battery and No FOID Card.  Because a child was present in the home at the time of the fight, Vineyard was also charged with endangering the life or health of a child.
