Marion couple arrested on narcotics charges

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – More illegal narcotics have been taken off the streets of Marion.

Police arrested husband and wife Joshua, 42, and Jamie, 43, Mueller on Monday, November 6. Both face charges including possession with the intent to deliver 15 to 100 grams of fentanyl, possession of 5 to 15 grams of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine.

Marion Police say the arrest of the Mueller’s on November 6 follows the arrests of Jennifer Shadowens, 35, and Angela Wiliams, 40, on November 4 on similar charges. Investigators believe individuals are buying fentanyl from a major metropolitan area and bringing it back to Marion for resale.
