HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) – A Shawneetown man will likely spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting a small child.
Authorities in Saline County say in 2018, Tylar Lewis, now 26, bit, burned, and sexually assaulted an 8-month-old. He left multiple bruises, cigarette burns, and bite marks all over the child’s body.
Tylar Lewis will be sentenced on October 30. He faces up to 120 years in state prison. He will not be eligible for probation.
