Marion Police: Gun drawn during Walmart argument

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A Herrin man has been arrested after police say he pulled out a handgun during an argument at a local Walmart.

The incident happened around 6:00 p.m. Sunday in the pharmacy section of the Marion Walmart.

Marion Police say Aidyn Finney, 18, pointed a pistol at two men that he and another woman had gotten into an argument with. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. Finney then ran out of the store and threw the gun in a grassy area between Walmart and the nearby Dillard’s.

The gun was recovered and Aidyn Finney was arrested. He was taken to the Williamson County Jail on charges of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and reckless conduct.
