MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A fully automatic machine gun, at least two hand guns, along with multiple magazines and dozens of bullets were seized during a traffic stop in Marion.
Marion Police pulled over the vehicle early Monday morning. They say the driver was handling the vehicle in an erratic manner. The driver ran, but was caught after a short chase. Their name, age, and hometown were not listed.
Charges against the driver include unlawful use of a weapon, driving on a suspended license, and resisting a peace officer.
