CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Dangerous driving led to the arrest of a Carbondale man on weapons charges.
At about 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Carbondale Police pulled over Immanuel Salley after he was seen driving well above the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic.
During the traffic stop, police found a gun inside of the vehicle. Salley was arrested for unlawful use of a weapon and no valid FOID card. Immanuel Salley was also charged with reckless driving and no valid driver’s license.
