JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – Slick driving conditions Thursday morning resulted in two loaded buses from the Vienna School District sitting sideways in the road.
After an early dismissal because of the deteriorating conditions, one bus encountered trouble on Gilead Church Road between the communities of Tunnel Hill and Simpson. Another had problems on Hound Dog Road, just west of Vienna.
School officials say no one on either bus was hurt and everyone made it home safely.
