CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale is one of five $25,000 winners in the Pet-Safe Bark for Your Park contest.
Organizers of the planned Carbondale Dog Park will use the money to finish construction.
Winners were chosen by community voting. The other four $25,000 were Binghamton, New York, Creston, Iowa, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Newport, New Hampshire.
Winners were selected through online voting.
