MARION, Ill. (WJPF) — Marion Police are investigating an incident of shots fired.
At about 2:00 a.m. Friday, shots were fired in the 800 block of South Russell Street. Police say several bullets hit a home in the area, but no injuries were reported.
Shortly after the shots were fired, a dark grey SUV was seen leaving the area.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Marion Police and ask for Detective Eggemeyer.
