Officials with the Southern 7 Health Department have expressed concern over a recent spike in their region.
On Friday, they said there was a 200 percent increase over the week before with 40 new cases of Covid-19. The average of people totally vaccinated in the region is just over 25 percent. They said four of the seven counties in the region have the lowest vaccination rates in the state.
