Illinois Caverns to reopen Wednesday

After being closed for 10 years, the Illinois Caverns in Waterloo is reopening to the public.

The tourist attraction will be back open beginning Wednesday, June 16, letting people explore the underground wonders of Illinois.

The site had been closed for 10 years as a precaution against White Nose Syndrome which can be fatal to bats.
