SPRING FIELD, Ill. (WJPF) — Jerry Costello II will continue to serve as Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Governor JB Pritzker announced Costello’s reappointment Thursday.
The second generation lawmaker represented the 116th district in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019, during which he served as chair of the Agriculture and Conservation committee.
Costello also previously served as the Director of Law Enforcement for the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
