WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A Mt. Vernon woman was hurt in a single vehicle crash Saturday in Williamson County.
It happened just before 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Route 148 and Little Grassy Road.
Illinois State Police say Holly Stewart, 35, was travelling south on Route 148 when she ran off the road, overcorrected, and overturned.
Stewart was thrown from the vehicle and later taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Stewart also received multiple citations, including for Driving with a Revoked License and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.
