UNION COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A death investigation is now underway in Union County after the body of a man was found Tuesday at a campsite in the Pine Hills area.
Authorities had been searching that same area for a missing hiker who had started Sunday on hike from Bald Knob to Inspiration Point.
The identity has not been released pending family notification.
