About 4,300 Ameren Illinois customers in Franklin County were without power for about three hours Tuesday night.
According to Ameren officials, the outage was discovered about 6 p.m. At the height of the outage, more than 4,000 customers were without power.
Power was restored around 9:15 p.m., according to Ameren’s Facebook page.
Ameren officials did not state a reason for the outage.
